I'm bad I know.
But i'm here. April 1, I had an appointment at 10:50 am. With not my doctor, since he was out of town, but someone else who was alright. I was 39 weeks and 2 days I believe. Anyhow, we brought everything with us, because the night before I was having bad pain in my lower back which we figured was back labor, but wasn't sure. I was sitting in the lobby and started having contractions. Did the pee in the cup thing and had blood spotting. Got in the back, and she said she thought I might be in labor, but head over to the hospital to get checked out and all. So we went on our way. Across the street that is ahaha. So we walk up there, every one is happy to see Claire and Grant. We hook me up to the machines and I was having contractions every 30 seconds. After 1 hour on the machines told me to go walk. So my dad and I did some speed walking, well as fast as I could walk, around the halls. I did about 20 laps. lol Anyhow, they then stopped me and told me to go into the room to get monitored and checked again.
I was having contractions that were jumping well over 100, but I didn't even feel them, except it did feel like she was rolling. And they were 15 seconds apart. I was then 8 cm dilated so I was in labor. They decided after some convincing that since we had a short time frame with our baby sitter, that they should just break my water and get it over with. They broke my water, I went to the bathroom, had 5 total contractions, 4 of which I pushed through and she was born. In less then 30 mins. =)
Very adorable 6 lbs 13.2 oz 19 inches long! Olivia Grace is her name. We thought she would have been like 8 + pounds, but nope. I apparently just don't have big babies. LOL Anyhow, Claire and Grant are in love with her. She is so perfect! Very different from Claire and Grant. Which is amazing to see. She likes to sleep unlike the other two. She also has golden dirty blonde hair, and they were born with brown hair. Which is odd.
That's an update for now. She is 10 days old and time is flying by!!! =)
